Od piktorializmu do postfotografii.   września 02, 2026    https://grzegorzgorczynski.blogspot.com/2026/09/photography-as-material-state.html     https://grzegorzgorczynski.blogspot.com/2026/09/fotografia-jako-stan-materii.html     Grzegorz Gorczyński氏                 写真は物質の状態である 新川芳朗と歴史的写真技法の新たな可能性 現代における歴史的な写真技法への関心は、しばしば「過去への回帰」として語られる。サイアノタイプ、銀塩によるさまざまな技法、リスプリント、その他のオルタナティブ・プロセスが再び注目されるとき、それはデジタル以前の写真への郷愁、あるいは手作業による写真制作の復権として理解されやすい。 しかし、日本の写真家・写真研究者である**新川芳朗（Yoshiro Shinkawa）**の実践は、そうした単純な解釈では捉えきれない。 新川にとって歴史的な写真技法は、過去を再現するための目的ではない。それはむしろ、 画像、物質、プロセス、時間、写真オブジェクトの関係そのものを問い直すための方法 として機能している。 新川は「新川写真研究所」を拠点として、オルタナティブ・フォトプロセス、高耐久写真プロセス、そして自身が展開する「双構図」と「微小位相差論」について研究し、実験の記録や理論的考察を公開している。[1] そこでは作品制作、技術研究、材料研究、理論形成が明確に切り離されていない。 この点こそが、新川の実践を考えるうえで重要である。 歴史的な技法は、保存されるべき「過去の技術」ではない。それは現在において新たな問いを生み出すための出発点となっている。 再構成から実験へ 新川は、歴史的・オルタナティブな写真技法への関心を形成するうえで、Mark Ostermanから大きな影響を受けたと語っている。[2] Osterm...

Introduction — Is There Only One “Present”? We ordinarily think of the “present” as a single temporal point. The past has already passed, the future has not yet arrived, and only the present exists as what is actually present. But does the present that we actually experience really exist as a single point? For example, suppose that we photograph a landscape in front of us. The photograph appears to record the moment at which it was taken. Yet, by the time we look at the photograph, the moment of exposure and the moment of viewing have already become different. Furthermore, a certain amount of time is required for the light emitted or reflected by the object to reach the camera.
